For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Quest Martial Arts Raleigh LLC include questraleigh.com, questmartialartsraleigh.com, and any subdomains thereof. 

This Statement of Privacy applies to questraleigh.com and questmartialartsraleigh.com (hereinafter Site(s)) and Quest Martial Arts Raleigh LLC (hereinafter QMAR) and governs data collection and usage. 

The QMAR website fulfills several functions. 

It provides public information about our school in Raleigh, North Carolina, information about upcoming in-person and online events hosted by QMAR, as well as information and announcements relevant to practitioners of our martial art, To-Shin Do. The QMAR site also has private educational materials provided exclusively to QMAR members.

The site handles registration and payment processing for QMAR members as well as for events hosted by QMAR.

The site offers and processes payments for print-on-demand products, fulfilled by CustomCat, and serves as a point of sale for in-person retail purchases from QMAR.

By using the QMAR website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered on our Site or purchased through our Site, QMAR may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

  • Phone Number

  • Emergency Contact
  • Allergies or Medical Conditions relevant to martial arts practice
  • Names of Family Members

If you purchase QMAR’s products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through QMAR’s public message boards, comment fields, or social media accounts this information may be collected and used by others.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. QMAR may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within the Site, in order to determine which QMAR services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within QMAR to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

QMAR provides in-person martial arts training at a school in Raleigh, North Carolina for minors aged 4-17 and adults 18+. Parent or Guardian permission is required for minors to be enrolled in the school or participate in training events.

Parents or Guardians may be asked to provide information (to the Site or to a representative of QMAR) regarding their minors when registering for classes or events. This information may be stored within a secure database on the Site and used to customize emails, products, services, or information provided to the Parent or Guardian.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, QMAR may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from QMAR or click on a link therein.
